Tours & Excursion

Meaningful education can not be imparted only in the class rooms, intractions at large and practical conditions, in particular are very essensial for broadcasting outlook of the students. The tours are organized deptt. wise i.e. Shishu Vatika, Primary & Secondary. Separate study tours of school staff are also organized to update the knowledge of the staff. Last year our teachers visited Educational and Cultural Centre of Ram Krishan Mission Jammu and studied the various educational activities of this reputed Organizasion.

 

Monthly Orientation Programme

On every last Saturday of the month orientation programmes for teachers are conducted in the school to improve the skill as well as updating the knowledge of teachers. Subject experts are invited as resource persons to achieve the purpose. In addition to this, teachers also participated in various traning programmes conducted by CBSE. Last year such a programme was also conducted in our school in which CBSE mentor Dr. Chhavi Kumar Kashyap imparted training to our staff.

Programmes During Summer Vacation

Different programmes for students as well as teachers are organised by Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti Jammu & Kashmir. Basic Teacher Training Programme is organized every year which is compulsory for every new teacher to attend. In addition, refresher courses are also organized on different subjects for teachers during vacation. Last year Basic Teacher Training Programme was organised in Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Katra in which 37 number of teachers from different schools including 3 teachers from our school were trained by National Level Trainers. In addition to this refresher courses on different subjects i.e. Vedic Ganit, Sanskrit, Spoken English, Music and Moral Education were also conducted.

Withdrawl

A parent can withdraw his ward at the end of the session but he/she should inform about the same by the end of February. In case any parent wants to withdraw his/her ward in the middle of the session, he/she has to pay all the dues for the session. All dues of the school should be paid in full and library books returned before applying for a school leaving certificate.

Discipline

  • The school lays emphasis on the maintenance of discipline and proper decorum in and outside the classroom.
  • Morning assembly is compulsory for all the students.
  • The students shall wear uniform prescribed by the school.
  • The students are expected to respect their teachers and extend full and active co-operation to them.
  • Students are expected to avoid quarrels and disputes with their fellow school mates. In case of any such incident they should immediately report the matter to the Principal instead of taking the law into their own hands.
  • Indiscipline students are liable to be expelled.

BAL BHARTI(Student Council):-

students association under the guidance of a teacher is responsible for maintaining discipline in school. Bal Bharti under the ableguidance of Smt. Rekha Jamwal and KumariNisha is performing well.

 

 

 

 

 

Annual Funtion

Annual function is organized by the school every year in which the students perform various cultural activities and meritorious students are awarded for their achievements in different fields-academic, sports and other activities. The achievements of the year are highlighted in the annual report read by the Principal. th Last year annual function was held on 5 of December under the auspicious presence of Sant Bal Yogeshwar Ji Maharaj. Sh. Nirmal Kumar Singh (Hon’ble Speaker Legislative Assembly J&K) was the Chief Guest and Sh. Inderesh Kumar ji (Member All India Working Committee R.S.S.) was the main speaker. Sh. Ram Lal Ji (Senior Vice President Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K) Sh. Satish Mittal (Treasures, Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti) Dr. Vivek and Sh. Ved Bhushan ji Members of Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti also graced the occasion.

Games and Sports

A sound mind lives in a sound body. With this firm belief, sports and games have been made an integral part of the school time table. Facilities are being provided for playing indoor as well as outdoor games. Every year studentsm participate in sports tournament organized by Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti Jammu & Kashmir and Vidya Bharti and win positions at district, state and zonal level. Last year sports meet was organised by Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti Jammu at State Level in Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Ambphalla in which our students bagged 65 Gold, Silver and Bronze medals as well as overall Sports Trophy.
